Brook Forest Park Pool

Pool Guidelines

The Brook Forest Community Pool is in the park at 16245 Havenpark.  The pool access is via badges which are available for pickup at the Pool House on May 11 and May 18 from 10 am - 2 pm.  If you are unable to pick up a badge on these two days, one can be picked up at the Community Management Solutions, Inc. office.  Assessments must be paid in full in order to receive pool badges.  The pool is for the exclusive use of Brook Forest Residents and up to two accompanied guests.  Pool lifeguards are on duty; and everyone is expected to adhere to the posted Pool Rules.  

Swimming Lessons

Information and Registration for swim lessons may be obtained by calling Gulf Coast Aquatics at 281-538-7946.

Private Pool Parties

Private parties may be scheduled after regular pool hours by contacting Gulf Coast Aquatics at 281-538-7946.  Residents are required to submit a "Facilities Use Agreement", post a deposit, and pay Gulf Coast Aquatics directly for lifeguard fees.

2025 Pool Hours

May 10 - Pool Tag Pickup Day

Pool Tags  Available for 2025 Season - 11:00 am - 3:00 pm - Pick up your tag at the Pool Park from 11 am - 3 pm.  Tags also available at the pool on May 17 from 11 am - 3 pm.  Assessments must be paid in full in order to pick up tags.

May 17 - Pool Opens for the Season

Pool Open  from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm.  Pool tags may be picked up between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.  Assessments must be paid in full in order to pick up tags.

May 17 - May 26, 2025

Pool Open ONLY on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

May 26, 2024 - Memorial Day

Pool Open - 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

May 27 - August 10, 2025

Pool Open 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, EXCEPT Thursdays (pool closed for maintenance)

August 16 - September 1, 2025

Pool Open ONLY on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

September 1, 2025 - Labor Day

Pool Open - 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

September 2, 2025 - Pool Closed for the Season

NOTE:

Pool Closed on Thursdays for maintenance.  If Holiday falls on a Thursday, Pool Closed on Friday for Maintenance.

Storm Policy

At the first sight of lightning or first sound of thunder the pool will be cleared, and all residents must leave the premises.  The pool will re-open 30 minutes after the last sighting of lightning or last sound of thunder.

This policy is based upon American Red Cross Guidelines.

FACILITY RULES

POOL RULES

1.  ALL SWIMMERS MUST WEAR SWIMSUITS, NO CUTOFFS ALLOWED


2.  NO RUNNING, ROUGH PLAY, EXCESSIVE SPLASHING OR SCREAMING


3.  NO FOUL OR DEROGATORY LANGUAGE


4. NO SMOKING IN IMMEDIATE POOL AREA


5. NO GLASS CONTAINERS IN POOL FACILITY


6. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES NOT PERMITTED IN POOL FACILITY


7. PLACE TRASH IN PROPER RECEPTACLES


8. NO DANGEROUS ITEMS SUCH AS TENNIS BALLS, FRISBEES, ETC. ALLOWED IN POOL FACILITY


9.  NO FOREIGN MATERIALS OR OBJECTS IN POOL


10. TREAT POOL FURNITURE PROPERLY


11. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN POOL FACILITY


12. ONE PERSON AT A TIME ALLOWED ON DIVING BOARD


13.  CHILDREN AGES 6 AND UNDER MAY USE THE WADING POOL


DEEP END AND DIVING RULES

1. ONLY ONE PERSON ON THE DIVING BOARD AT ONE TIME


2. ONLY ONE BOUNCE PER DIVE.  ONLY ONE DIVER PERMITTED ON THE LADDER AND/OR DIVING PLATFORM AT A TIME


3. DIVERS ARE NOT TO EXECUTE THEIR DIVE UNTIL THE PREVIOUS PERSON HAS REACHED THE WALL OR PASSED THE BUOY ROPE


4. DIVING FROM THE BOARD MUST BE STRAIGHT OFF THE END


5. DIVING IN NOT PERMITTED IN WATER OF DEPTH 5 FEET OR UNDER


PERSONS REFUSING TO COMPLY WITH THE POOL RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND MAY HAVE THEIR POOL TAG REVOKED.
